Introduction 1

Being an avid reader of history, I tend to visit historical places. Last month, I had visited a cultural and religious place for the first time.

Where the new place is?

The place is known as Burj Fateh. Its name is Chappar Chiri, a small village in the Mohali district of Punjab.

When did you go there?

Last year my city was in a state of lockdown due to the corona pandemic. Once the local government had lifted the lockdown and begun the unlock process, I had a sigh of relief. And I immediately visited Burj Fateh.

Why did you go there?

To do something beyond the conventional domain, I decided to visit Burj Fateh.

And explain how you feel about the place?

The first thought that came to my mind is that it is the bounden duty of all Indians to visit Chappar Chiri because it occupies a significant role in Indian history. This place witnessed the battle betwixt Sikh forces led by Banda Singh Bahadur Ji and Wazir Khan from Sirhind.

The local authorities constructed Fateh Burj to mark the war led by Banda Bahadur Singh Ji. This place has state of the art infrastructure. The architects have left no stone unturned to give it a historical look.

This place has a museum. Students from different schools visit this place to gain knowledge of Sikh history and culture. Moreover, the authorities conduct various cultural programmes to spread awareness regarding the significance of this place.

Conclusion

It is a must-visit place for people from all sections of society.

Introduction 2

Being a voracious traveller, I tend to travel to different parts of the world. Recently I visited a new place.

Where the new place is?

The place is in the Uttranchal state of India. Its name is Chakrata, and it is a hill station.

When did you go there?, and Why did you go there?

Last year because of the Corona Virus outbreak, the higher authorities imposed a stringent lockdown in our nation. Due to this reason, I didn’t go out of my township for six months.

Finally, when the administration had lifted the lockdown, I had a sigh of relief. And I immediately planned to visit a new location. After surfing the internet for hours, I finalised Chakrata city for my trip.

And explain how you feel about the place?

Chakrarta city is a must-visit place. It is far away from the hustle and bustle of modern cities. As this place is 100 km away from the urban areas, there is no traffic congestion.

Moreover, the cool breeze blows that keep the environment clean and pristine. I had not found many tourists over there due to that, I roamed in the city with tremendous ease.

The administration has banned the usage of plastic bags in this city. Apart from this, the natives do not prefer to use motor vehicles for work. Due to this reason, the pollution level is low in the city.

Conclusion;

I love this place because of its alluring beauty, and I have planned to visit it every year.

l have always been interested in traveling because I feel relaxed and feel like I am living my life to the fullest. The journey becomes even more exciting when we travel with friends.

Similarly here I am going to talk about one of the trips that I did with my friends. About six months ago 3 friends of mine and I decided to visit the Taj Mahal which, is one of the world’s Seven Wonders. We decided to travel by car because it gives the liberty to stop in the passage according to the convenience.

Within several hours we reached the Taj mahal and we were amazed to see the view of The Taj Mahal. After watching the view we started clicking selfies and pictures. We became interested in knowing about the history of the Taj Mahal. Though we already had an idea still we decided to learn even more.

We decided to read about the internet. After enjoying the place for about 2 hours we were very tired and then we went out for eating in a nearby restaurant.

Overall, the feeling I had at that time can’t be expressed in words it was totally an elated moment for all of us. Whenever we see the pictures that we clicked in the journey just put a smile on our faces.
