Introduction 1

One of my favorite movies is ‘Dear Zindagi’. It means Dear Life. I have a lot of movies

in my mind which are my favorite but this one is special and I will like to talk about

it today. The film is about a young cinematographer, her relationships and her

feelings who is seeing a psychotherapist. Her character is played by Alia Bhatt and

Shah Rukh Khan plays her counselor.

I saw this movie in the theatre with my friends. That was the first time. Thereafter,

I saw it a couple of times on TV, in my laptop and also in my phone. I must have seen

it almost ten to twelve times. I like the movie so much that I can watch it over and

over again. Even the songs are very meaningful and catchy.

The film is a like a self-help book. It is an inspirational movie. Whoever watches this

movie will definitely learn something from this movie. It teaches the art of balancing

emotions, relationships and career. This movie was not very successful at the box

office because it was slightly different than the other movies.

It is one of my favorite movies for various reasons. Whenever, I watch it I learn

something new. I feel as if my problems are being solved. It gives me a feeling that

someone is listening to me. A lot of things can be related to the real life situations.

It teaches the best lesson that life is to be cherished and that we have to count our

blessings.

To be honest, I love to watch movies, I think it is the best entertainer and stress buster for me, and I will definitely take this opportunity to talk about the movie and that is “Taare Zameen par”.

When and where you saw it? and What type of film it was?
I watched it hardly one month ago, as my friend recommended me to watch it. It’s a family movie and we all family members were free, it was Sunday. So, we decided to watch this movie on Netflix.

What the film was about?
This movie is of famous Bollywood personality “Amir Khan” who is actually favourite as well. This movie is about a little child, who is suffering from a very serious problem and its very rare disease knowns as “Dyslexia” because of that he could read and write well, however, he is excellent at drawing and imagination. but the parents always force and compel the child to do good in studies.

Since he performs poorly he often gets punished by a teacher as well as the parents. Fortunately one day a new teacher joins the school he is actually Amir Khan and he himself was suffering from the same disease in his childhood. so he figured out immediately that this child has a problem.

So, he tries to help him out and try to nurture his talent of drawing and by the end of the movie this child emerge as the best painter.

And explain why it is your favourite film?
I think it is a wonderful movie with a great message for a society that parent should not always compel their children to do good in studies only they should try to nurture their talent because every child is unique in itself.

Apart from the good story I also like the comedy in the movie there were times when we were getting emotional.

Conclusion:
Overall, it was a wonderful movie with the best Indian music as well. So, that’s why I definitely say that it is the best movie and also recommend it to others watch it.

• Although I was tired and wanted to relax for the weekend, yet I accompanied him on his insistence.

• It is based on true incidents.

What the film was about?

• The story revolves around the life of a sportsperson who has not been able to achieve his desired goals.
• He doesn’t lose hope, and instead, he channelizes his energies in guiding and training his two daughters, Geeta and Babita.
• The villagers don’t support his idea, as they think that wrestling is not a sport for women.
• He doesn’t let that bother him and continues to train his daughters.
• They do not succeed in the first attempt.
• But he encourages them and imparts rigorous training.
• Finally they bring laurels to the country in the Commonwealth Games.

And explain why it is your favourite film?

• This is one of my favorite movies, as it is very motivating.
• I got goosebumps while watching the matches in this movie.
• It was like watching those matches live.

Conclusion:

• It is not only a good example of modern cinematography but also a marvel in good direction.
• This is one movie, which I can watch again and again.

There are some movies that we watch and forget while some others have an everlasting effect on our lives. I would like to talk about my favorite movie, 3 idiots. It is a Bollywood movie directed and produced by a well-known Indian director, Raj Kumar Hirani. Since it was based on a renowned novel ‘5 Points Someone’ and one of my favorite artist, Aamir Khan is casted in it, I was extremely eager to watch this film.

The film is focused on three college friends from a prestigious institution of India. The plot revolves around the protagonists belonging to different cultural backgrounds who have different goals in life but they end up in an engineering institution. Thus, talking about how Asian parents force the dreams on their children. One of them has a unique approach towards life and is blessed with a super technical mind. On the other hand, his friends were not that brilliant and were not interested in a particular field.

This movie was released in 2009 so it’s been quite a long time but it still remains on the top of my all-time favorite movies. I remember watching it with my friends during my school days. The film is beautifully crafted and has some exciting twists. It gained pretty good recognition among audience worldwide.

This is my favorite movie as it has many messages to deliver on friendship, success and the education system of our nation. The movie highlights a friendship bonding among three college friends. It also teaches about following our passion instead of worrying about grades in order to be accomplished in life. The film also questions the Indian education system where one gets job placement based on grades rather than creative ideas and invention.

Being a busy person, I do not get enough time to watch movies. However, whenever I get an opportunity to watch a film, I grab that.

Five years back, due to torrential rain, I did not go to my office. Since I was free at home, I utilized that day by watching a movie.

What type of film it was?

I watched a motivational movie by the name of “3 idiots”.

What the film was about?

The film is about the struggles of three budding engineers who become roommates in a college hostel. Two of them always have troubles in their lives because of their negative mindset. On the other hand, the third character always handles the conflicts adroitly due to his carefree nature.

The protagonist, who is the third character, changes the mindset of his two roommates and help them to lead their lives towards an impressive growth trajectory.

And explain why it is your favourite film?

It is my favourite film because it teaches us to think beyond the conventional domain. This film summarises that “Whenever we face adversities in our lives, we just need to say ourselves “All is well“. This small sentence has led to a paradigm shift in my life.

As human beings, we always exaggerate things and circumstances. Likewise, we overdramatize our troubles too.

As per the message conveyed in this movie, instead of feeling tense, we should handle the issues in our life with a positive and optimistic mindset.

Therefore, whenever I feel stressed, I watch this movie. The guidance provided in this film works like a charm for me.

To be honest, I am not that big fan of watching movies. Hence, I don’t watch movies that often.
Having said that, I do watch some movies occasionally to relax myself and relieve the work stress that I have.
Hence, I love to watch more educational movies from which we get to learn something.
There are some amazing ones being made in India these days.
One such movie that I can think of right now is the bollywood movie named Mission Mangal.
I watched it somewhere around a year ago, probably last January.
It was Sunday that day and luckily all my family members were at home that day and were in a mood to enjoy.
So, my cousin suggested we watch this amazing movie. So, we connected Hotstar to our home theater and watched it at home itself with the whole family.
It is a very educational and motivational film.
As it is based on true events which happened during India’s mission to Mars and how India became the only country to successfully land on Mars in her first attempt itself.
So, it’s basically about India’s manned mission to planet Mars.
The whole plot revolves around the hard work, dedication and determination of Indian scientists to make this mission successful.
This movie also explains the actual meaning of women empowerment as most of the scientists depicted in the movie are women.
Plus, it also sheds light on the hardships that our Indian team of scientists had to face to make this mission a grand success.
Hence, it’s my favourite film as I feel really proud of our space organisation ISRO for accomplishing such a feat despite facing so many problems.
I have watched this movie many times as it motivates me to work hard and be focused on my goals and dreams no matter what.
Plus, being a girl it makes me feel empowered in the right way and encourages me to study more as I too aspire to get my doctorate and become a scientist.

If I had to make a movie I would make biopics of all the people whom I

have met and learnt something from them. I think there are a lot of people

who are great and not many people know about them so making movies

on them would be a great idea.

5. How are movies in your country different from other countries?

Movies in my countries are long and have songs and lots of emotions. I have not

seen songs in western movies. Western movies are also shorter and more action

packed.
