This must be before two years or so, I do not exactly remember. I had gone on a

holiday with my family to a hill station and we had one day to explore the street

market of the city. The street market was located right in the center of the city and

was a very crowded place. I bought two pairs of sports shoes from the street market.

That market had more than 20 shops of footwear and all of them had amazing

variety of shoes. I had to control myself to buy only two pairs. The shoes were so

attractive that I wanted all of them. I got one pair for walking and running and the

other pair for trekking on the mountains. Both are of blue color, light weight and

very comfortable to wear.

I feel lucky to own these pairs because they look classy and stylish and at the same

time are very inexpensive. It’s been two years since I bought them and they are still

the same. The product durability makes me feel glad. Sometimes, I also feel regret

that I should have bought one more pair.

The shoes are easy to maintain and are weather friendly. I feel confident to run

when I wear them. Whenever I wear them, people ask me where did I get them from

and that brings a smile on my face. I tried to look for similar shoes on Amazon but I

could not find them. I am going to make the maximum use of them until they wear

out.

• All types of things such as, From cotton garments to fashionable bags, cosmetics, home furnishings, sweaters, footwear and other accessories, one can get without affecting the budget.

What you bought?

• I went to many branded shops to buy footwear buy their prices were sky high, so I decided to purchase heels from that market. I purchased it at a very affordable price.
• I bought two items from there, one was high heel footwear, and another was a handbag.
• It is black colour footwear. It is very comfortable. my friend and I also bought a handbag.
• I purchased it because my college bag was tiny, so I always faced problems carrying many things. The bag is black in colour and has three pockets that can quickly bring big and small items.

How you felt about it?

• I felt very happy because I got products at a very low price but with the best quality.

Conclusion:

• Next month I again go there for some official work, and I am planning to visit the market for shopping.

• One bag especially caught my fancy.
• It was a copy of Michael Kors bag.
• The seller told me that it is for 1000, but I bargained, and I got it for Rs.700
• It is a black bag and big enough to hold my 13-inch laptop
• Inside the bag, there are three more bags – one for coins, one for keys, and one for sunglasses
• I found it a really good deal
• Ever since I bought it, I use it almost every day
• Only a true connoisseur can tell the difference between real and fake.
• My aunt has a similar original Michael Kors purse, and she takes it out only on special occasions.

And how you felt about it?

• I feel happy that I can use my bag daily without having to worry about spoiling it.
• Sometimes my mother also uses it when she goes shopping.

• Although it is faux leather, it is very sturdy and looks like real leather.

Being a shopaholic person, I love shopping. Most of the time I buy things from shopping malls, sometimes, I go to the local street market to buy my favourite things.

Last year my relatives planned a visit to my home. To leave a good impression on them, I had left no stone unturned to keep my home spic and span.

However, to my dismay, While cleaning the house, I realized that the curtains of my drawing-room were in bad shape.

Since I did not have much time at my disposal, I decided to buy them from the nearby street market, just 200 metres away from my home.

What did you buy?

Along with curtains for my drawing-room, I bought some glasses too from that market.Since there is fierce competition in that market I managed to get huge discount.

And how you felt about it?

Post-purchase, I was not very happy for a few days. I was under the impression that I had made the wrong choice by buying things from the street market. And the reason for the disappointment was my family members.

They were repeatedly telling me that the products I bought were inferior in quality.

But the disappointment didn’t last too long. When my relatives had come to my home, they started appreciating the curtains. 

Moreover, when I had washed those curtains, they didn’t shrink at all.

These days I regularly visit that market and I have saved a lot of money by buying the daily need items. Since the vendors of that market have low operational costs, they share their profits with their customers.

• The striking feature of the bag is its size which is big enough to carry my laptop.
• The inside of the bag has three pockets dedicated to currency, keys, and shades.
• My heaps of experience helped me to crack a good deal.
• This bag has become an integral part of my life and, I use it daily.
• It is so similar to the original one, and differentiating it from the original one would be a daunting task for anyone.

• I feel like a lucky person to grab such a good deal at a throwaway price
• One of my friends borrows this bag regularly for shopping.

Previous month, I bought a traditional outfit from a street market. Actually, there was annual day celebration in my college. Everybody was so excited for this event as it is celebrated in a grand way.

• Where the market was?

The street market I visited, is the famous market of my city. It is situated in the center of my city. Moreover, it is just 5km away from my place. I mostly go there for shopping with my friends and family.

• What you bought?

I wanted a nice outfit to wear on my college event. As per my performance theme, I wanted a traditional outfit. Furthermore, the street market of my city was the best option for my shopping.

After reaching street market, I went to several shops and seen outfits with different designs and material. There was lot of variety in market and I was getting very confused while, choosing the perfect outfit for me.

Thankfully, I had visited market along with my bestie. She helped me to choose an outfit that would suit me the best. Finally, I purchased an attire, which was a beautiful Anarkali suit. I loved the mirror work embroidery on it.

Additionally, I required a jewellery item to pair it with my traditional outfit. I purchased a set of earrings and a forehead accessory. Both were golden in colour and made a great combination with my outfit.

Furthermore, I got both the items in a reasonable price rate. This is what I love about the street market, you can get products of your choice at cheap price.

I felt so happy. Getting your shopping done in a reasonable price would give happiness to anyone. It feels good that you have not spent lot of money. Also, got the clothes and other things of your choice. Specially, when you get what you really wanted and was looking for.

• When it was?

Recently, my friend asked me to come along for the shopping at a street market. Also, my friend told me that he wanted to purchase some clothes and footwear for this winter.

We decided to visit the street market on Sunday as on this day, there is huge sale on all the products such as, clothes, jewellery, shoes and household items.

The street market is located at city center of my hometown. It is the most preferred shopping place by residents of my city. People enjoy their shopping as well as street food at this market.

As I told you earlier, I had gone for my friend’s shopping. I was not having any shopping preference in my mind. I just went for enjoying my day. However, when we stopped at a footwear shop. A pair of boots caught my attention and I asked shopkeeper to show me that pair.

Further, I tried the boots and they suited me well. The boots were brown in colour and the material was quite good. Also, the price was very less. The boots were stylish high ankle boots.

Surprisingly, I seen similar boots on an online app and they costed for 7,000 INR. I was happy that I got the boots at a cheaper price as I paid 1200 rupees.

• How you felt about it?

I was delighted with my purchase as I got a really nice pair of boots. I can wear those shoes with any casual outfit and they are great for this winter season.

Additionally, I was satisfied with my spending. As I got the footwear in a normal price range. I was very excited to wear the shoes for the very first time and click some amazing photos. Also, I was happy to add a new pair of shoes to my footwear collection.

In this fast-paced world where more and more people are turning to online shopping, open-air markets seem to have lost their popularity. But, I come from a city in which such markets are still quite popular.

Shastri street market is probably one of the most renowned markets in my city and it is located in the heart of my city. Last year I visited this market with my friends. we enjoyed ourselves a lot and did lot of fun. we bought numerous things.

Suddenly, I saw a shop, in that shop there were huge collections of curtains like window treatment set, window scarf, single panel and many more. I was incredibly fascinated by one curtain that grabbed my attention. Curtain is light blue color with contrast of navy blue shade that was hanging in shop. The reason that allured me was its shiny velvet fabric along with frills.  I felt exhilarated after this shopping because I bought this product at very nominal price.

These days I regularly visit that market and I have saved a lot of money by buying the daily need items. Since the vendors of that market have low operational costs, they share their profits with their customers.

In my opinion the biggest difference is the quality of the products. The

quality of the things available in the shops is supposedly better. It is easy to

go back and exchange things in the shops if found faulty. The price of the

Things on the roadside do not have any overheads like rent, electricity bill,

and salary of the employees who are selling it. These products are also not

branded. Due to these reasons they may be less expensive.

Those things which are mostly purchased from the street in my city are

vegetables, fruits and flowers. There are some markets where clothes,

footwear and some general accessories are also sold on the street.

4. Do you think it is reliable to buy things from the street market?

This is a tricky situation. It depends on the product. I don’t know if products

from the street are always guaranteed. Those things which are always

available on the street could be trusted. With other things we have to take

a chance.

5. Who usually purchases things from the street and who buys from the

outdoor market?

People who are status conscious and those who wear only branded things

are the ones who always buy things from the shops and malls. Whereas,

those who wish to buy things at an affordable rates would but it from the

street. Sometimes it is also a matter of convenience and choice.
