Describe a person who impressed you most when you were in primary school

Who is he/she?

How do you know him/her?

Why he/she impressed you the most?

How do you feel about him/her?

1 Introduction

This is a really interesting question. I can never forget this person in my lifetime. The

person who impressed me the most when I was a child was a support staff in my

school. His name was ABC. Coincidently, his son was my classmate and a good friend

of mine. I knew uncle ABC more as my friend’s father rather than the peon of my

school.

Uncle ABC impressed me due to many reasons. First of all he was a very simple man

and had a very pleasant persona. He would greet all children with joy and had a

million dollar smile. The best thing about him was that he worked hard to provide

the best education to his children. He used to do odd jobs so that he could support

his family in the best way.

I always looked upon him with lots of respect and admiration. He was the best father

to his children. I also visited his home often to play with my friend. I used to feel

inspired from uncle ABC for his commitment for his family. He was my role model

and unknowingly he taught me a lot. Today, if I am a responsible person it is a lot

because of him.

Today he is a proud father and his children are so proud of him. I am still in touch

with him. I feel fortunate that I could come across such a person who taught me the

real values of life. This person did not allow difficult financial situation to come in

the way of his children. Instead he toiled to make their dream come true. He lives

for others and that is the most impressive trait.

2 Introduction:

  • I was considered a very naughty kid in my childhood.
  • I was intelligent, but I used to never study at home.
  • In fact, I would spend all my day playing sports or video games.

How you knew him/her?

  • So, my mother made me join extra classes after school with a home tutor nearby.

Who he/she is?

  • Her name was Mrs Bambah.

Why he/she impressed you the most?

  • She is the person who impressed me the most during my childhood.
  • In fact, I believe it is because of her that I might be able to fulfil my dream of going abroad.
  • First, she developed my interest in studies.
  • Before her, I used to consider studies a chore.
  • I only studied before exams.
  • Rather than asking me to memorise things, she made me understand the concept behind things.
  • The teachers at my school were also good, but due to the burden of covering the vast syllabus and shortage of time, they found it hard to cover everything in detail.
  • She covered everything in detail.
  • But studies were not the only reason why she left such a big imprint on me.
  • I learnt many of life’s valuable lessons from her in my childhood.
  • She taught me the importance of humility, punctuality, and industriousness.
  • Even if I was late by 5 minutes, I was not allowed to attend the class.
  • In India, where being a few minutes late is on time, I am actually early for every appointment.
  • Another thing that I liked about her was that though she was strict, she was also very friendly to talk to.
  • She was more than a teacher to me in this regard.
  • I shared all my problems with her, and she would always patiently listen.
  • And instead of providing solutions, she would ask me to think about the best action in that scenario.
  • Because of this, I am independent today, and I am confident of taking decisions without second-guessing myself.

And how you feel about him/her? and Conclusion:

  • I have the utmost respect for her, and along with that, there is a feeling of guilt because I feel I would never be able to pay her back for all that she did for me.

On our schooling days, we meet and take advice from a lot of people. However, there are only a few people who impress us, and we always seek flashes of inspiration from such persons.

As far as I am concerned, I met a remarkable personality in my childhood, and according to me, he is the most impressive person I have ever met.

Who he/she is?

He is Mr Gordon and right now he is 50 years old.

How you knew him/her

When I was in 5th standard, I came across Mr Gordon. He was the librarian of our school.

Why he/she impressed you the most

The reason why he impressed me the most was through his determination, dedication and discipline he brought a paradigm shift in my life.

During my budding years, I used to be an average student. I was not much interested in studying, and my teachers would rebuke me a lot.

Due to such a low performance, I had developed an inferiority complex in myself. In my 5th standard, when I started going to the library, I would sit there for hours, practically doing nothing.

Upon seeing my plight, Mr Gordon came to my rescue. Every day he used to make me read 2-3 pages of my favourite cartoon book.

He did this task with me for three months, and the result was that I became a voracious reader in just three months. After seeing improvement in my performance, my teachers had started taking me seriously, and I became the topper of my class.

Today I am a successful person, and the credit of my success goes to Mr Gordon.

Not only me, but he has also turned the life of many other students towards an impressive growth trajectory.

And how you feel about him/her

He is an altruist person who always goes beyond the conventional domain to help others.

4 Introduction:

However, there was a paradigm shift in my career when I developed a friendship with one of my classmates. When I was in the sixth standard, a new student joined our class.

Who he/she is?

His name is Andrew.

Why he/she impressed you the most?

He impressed me the most because of his towering personality. He was not only a voracious reader but also an outstanding sportsperson.

His determination, dedication and discipline towards any pursuit he would indulge impressed me. The rest of the class used to take study as a burden, but for him, it was fun.

He started organising debates in our class, and due to that, there was a remarkable improvement in the communication skill of all the students.

Moreover, he instilled a sense of competition among his classmates. Due to his contribution, to the development of our class, there was a significant improvement in the average marks of our classmates.

These days I am basking in the glory of my success, and I am raking in big bucks. The credit of my success goes to Andrew.

Under his influence, I had made collosol changes in my work, and I started thinking beyond the conventional domain. The overall impact was encouraging, and I led my life towards an impressive growth trajectory.

Due to the immense contribution, Andrew has made in my life, he is the most impressive person I have ever met.

And how do you feel about him/her? and Conclusion:

If every class gets a student like Andrew the world would become a better place.

5 Introduction

On our tutoring days, we meet and accept counsel from numerous individuals. In any case, there are a couple of individuals who encourage us, and we usually look for glimmers of motivation from them.

I had the fortune of meeting a surprising character in my adolescence, and as per me, he is the most noteworthy individual I have ever met.

Who he/she is?

He is my bosom friend Michael.

How did you know him/her?

After passing the 5th standard, I had to change my school. The reason was the promotion and transfer of my father to another city.

In my new school, Michael was my classmate.

Why he/she impressed you the most

From the day I had met him, he became my role model. Before meeting him, I used to be an unorganised person, however, under his company, my personality went through a dramatic change.

On one of our school trips, he was my roommate. While staying with him, I got convinced that he was the epitome of discipline.

Every day from morning till evening, he would do every task with a plan.

After waking up, he would make his bed, and he would reach the class 15 minutes in advance to set the table, chairs and whiteboard so that our teachers could provide us seamless learning.

Under his aegis, I understood the importance of paramount discipline in my life.

And how you feel about him/her

Michael’s company changed the trajectory of my life, and whatever success I have achieved in my life, I owe it to him.

6 Introduction

Schooling is the time when our minds are in the nascent stage. During that time, it is a daunting task to distinguish between right and wrong. There are a few people in our lives who show us the right trajectory. I had the opportunity to spend my budding years in the company of an altruist and philanthropist person.

Who he/she is?

He is my bosom friend Andrew.

How you knew him/her

Andrew joined my school when he was in 5th standard. We were classmates.

Why he/she impressed you the most

Before meeting with Andrew, I used to be an unplanned person. My life was moving at the mercy of the wind. Within a few days of becoming my all-weather friend, Andrew realized something wrong with my attitude towards life.

Being my friend, he took it as his indubitable responsibility to lead my life towards the impressive growth path. After spending a sizeable time with me, he concluded that the problem with my life was a lack of goals.

To put me on track, he insisted I write my goals. He divided my goals into five categories, namely financial, career, health, family and leisure.

Although initially, I found goal-setting to be a monotonous exercise, I realized the importance of this activity later. This activity led to a paradigm shift in my thinking. To achieve my goals, I not only did immaculate planning but also worked extremely hard.

Within one year of meeting, Andrew success started making inroads in my life. Today I am a successful person, and the credit of my achievements goes to Andrew.

He has this tendency of helping others without any vested interests. This quality of his impressed me the most.

And how you feel about him/her

I firmly believe that the world needs more people like Andrew to make it a better place.
