Getting a good service is a great feeling indeed. One good service that I received

which I will fondly remember is a cab service. I availed the taxi service a few months

ago when I had to travel to a city which was 100 kilometers away from my home. I

was with my parents and it was the most memorable ride we had together.

On receiving this service I felt very special and like a VIP. Because of the great

hospitality the journey was delightful and comfortable for my parents and me. We

felt lucky and joyous about the excellent services and also thanked the cab driver

and praised him for his sincerity and work.

There are many reasons why I liked this service and why I feel it was good. The first

reason is the punctuality of the chauffeur and his persona. He not only came on time

but he was well dressed and super polite with us. When we sat in the car he greeted

us well and immediately offered us chilled bottled water and a newspaper.

He asked us if we are okay with the AC temperature and if we would like to change

the music of our choice. All these gestures were completely unexpected and they

came to us with a surprise. Normally, we would expect just a pick up and drop. It

was a distinctive and an impressive experience indeed.

  • Here I would like to talk about a situation when I received a very good service from a shop in a shopping mall in Jalandhar.

When you received it? and Who you were with?

  • Last month I went there with my cousins to buy some clothes for myself.
  • I wanted to buy a pair of jeans, and I had heard about this shop in Viva College, which sells jeans of all top brands.
  • We went straight to that shop, and the salesmen welcomed us with smiling faces.
  • They started showing us various varieties and allowed us to try them on.
  • We were very happy to know that Levis Company was offering a deal.
  • We picked out the colours of our choice and happily made the purchase.
  • Two pairs of jeans needed slight alterations in length, which they got done within an hour at no extra cost.

And how you felt about it?

  • We were very happy with their prompt service.
  • Later on, we enjoyed ourselves at the mall and had lunch there at a food outlet.
  • In the evening we watched a movie in the same complex.
  • When I came home and showed my jeans to my family, they also liked them a lot.

Conclusion:

  • I refer that shop to all my friends and relatives because of their services.

In this contemporary epoch, the reputation of the companies thrives primarily on the services provided by them. Some companies pay excessive heed to provide good service, whereas others get poor ratings for terrible service.

Recently I have received please customer service from one company.

What was the service?

Last month I purchased airdrops of “Boat”.Upon my request, the company replaced the product. When I had realised that there was a problem with the charging point of the product, I immediately called customer service. The concerned person had listened to my request patiently and committed to replace the product as soon as possible.

When you received it?, and Who you were with?

The best part was that the replacement came in just one day, that too at my doorstep. I was with my family members while receiving the replaced product.

And how you felt about it?

The whole experience turned out to be highly satisfying. 

I was under the impression that the replacement would come in a week or so. To my surprise next after making the complaint, I received my new airdrops.

I never expected such quick service, and I was so overwhelmed with the flawless customer service. To further enhance the reputation of the “Boat” brand, I have shared my experience on various platforms like Instagram, Quora and Medium etc.

There have been many times when I have received good service. But here I would like to talk about one incident when I got a good service. I was travelling to Amritsar by car on a marriage function with all my family members.  In the halfway suddenly my car started making a noise and I stopped my car. When I saw it, the front wheel axel broke down. It was very inconvenient, my siblings and my mother were with me, and it was a very hot day. Luckily there was a car workshop, I called the mechanic, he checked and told It will take about an hour to fix it. He said us to come into his shop due to extreme weather. We went into his shop and took a rest there. He was a very generous and kind person. His worker started fixing our car first, leaving aside other work. He also offered us water and tea. Within one hour, his worker repaired our car. I was very glad to see that my car is ok now. Moreover, he charged little compared to local workshops in my area. My whole family thanked him for their service. Then, we continued to start our journey and after one hour we reached our destination. So this was the time when I received good service.

Receiving a good service from a company or shop has become a rarity these days, at least, in places where I live. Among such rarity, however, we still “accidentally” receive some good service, just as I did about a few months ago, that makes us feel special. I received excellent service from the Walmart store.
I went there with one of my friends to purchase a gift for the upcoming birthday of my niece. The service that I received in this store was exceptional.
I was looking for a great birthday present for my niece in Walmart, but I did not know what type of gift item to buy for her. So, I was looking for something randomly once I was in the shop. A salesgirl approached me and politely asked if I needed her assistance. When I said “yes”, she started showing me different items while also explaining the origin, use, and price of the products. By the way, before showing any gift item, she asked me about my niece’s age, preference, and expectations which was very professional in my opinion. Besides, she was very helpful and patient. But to my surprise, the store manager also came to me after a while and showed me some wonderful gift items after inquiring about my niece age and preference.
It was in the middle of the last year, possibly, nearly a week before my niece’s birthday who was turning nine last year.
I was impressed by the support the salesperson and the manager offered. They both showed the utmost professionalism, salesmanship, and care which I really liked about this store. The manager even offered me a discount when I checked out. With their help, I had been able to pick a perfect gift for my niece and I really felt great about the service.

 Well, giving a good service to customers is a prime duty of every company.

–  However, sometimes we get good service sometimes we don’t.

– Here I would like to talk about an incident when I received a satisfying service from a restaurant named The Mapple.

– What happened exactly, a few months back, one of my friends had a birthday and we all friends wanted to give him a surprise party.

– One of my cousins suggested me this food outlet and told me about their delicious food and good service.

– So, we met the manager over there and told him about the party.

– we booked some tables in advance for that day and asked them to decorate that area.

– The manager assured us about all the arrangements including the birthday cake.

– On that day, we convinced our friend to go there for having some snacks.

– To be honest, as it was the first time we organised the party in this restaurant, we were also a bit doubtful.

– However, when we visited the place, we were all got amazed by looking at the decoration.

– They used some colorful balloons and flowers for decoration and on one wall they also wrote “happy birthday Robert” using colorful tapes.

– when we just entered, the whole staff started singing the happy birthday song.

– My friend, got surprized and he was just standing still and giving smile.

– He was thanking everyone for making his day unforgettable.

– Then, the hotel staff brought the cake which was also decorated in a delightful manner.

– First of all, my friend cut the cake while everyone was chanting “happy birthday Robert”.

– All the staff members were clapping and singing with us.

– We clicked a number of photos of that memorable moment.

– After the cake ceremony, we ordered the food.

– Every dish was super tasty and we could not stop us from eating more and more.

– At the same time, their service was so fast and that we did not have to wait much.

– Every member of staff was polite and dressed well.

– I must say that the whole restaurant staff made our day and without them, it was not possible for us to give such a wonderful treat to our best friend.

– I also recommended this place to my other friends and family members.

-After leaving, I gave a 5-star rating to this restaurant on google maps as a gesture of love.

– At the end, my friend once again thanked us.

We usually expect to receive good services at the hospital, hotel, and

academic institutes and at banks. Some other places where we may expect

to receive a good service is a well-known or a place with a goodwill. Ideally,

receiving good service is basic and it is not much to expect.

 

 

 

  1. Did you ever experience a bad service?

Yes, I have once experienced very bad service at one restaurant. The waiter

was very rude with us and we were served stale food. Later on complaining

he did not even apologize. I will never go back to that restaurant again.

 

 

 

  1. What kind of jobs require their staff to be more hospitable?

Aviation industry, hotel industry and hospitals are some places where the

staff is expected to be more hospitable in comparison to others. At other

places if we receive good service then it is their goodness and our luck.

 

 

 

  1. What is your opinion about inhospitable people? P

I think there is no difference between such people and uncivilized people.

Such people are rude and are disliked by many. They should be taught a

lesson and also be punish. It is our duty to respect others and also our right

to be respected by others.

 

 

 

  1. What are some ways to be good to our guests?

We can be welcoming and polite to them. We can take them places for sight

seeing and serve them good meals. We can make them feel comfortable and

welcoming. They should feel like coming again.
